Stack = tap on two players to lock them as a fixed doubles team for the session — tap Stack on player A, then Stack on their partner B.
Players who don't check in within the grace window are skipped and returned to the back of the queue.
Opens the check-in screen. Best used as a shared kiosk device (tablet/laptop) at the courts — a player's own phone can view this link, but can't write back to your board without a shared server, so have them confirm on the kiosk screen when their name is called.
Locked features show a 🔒 — tap one and the Plans screen opens on the plan you need. Branded check-in screens and staff access are coming to Venue.
Prefer tapping? Tap a queued player to drop them into the next open court slot.
All 8 formats live under the Tournament tab. Same setup flow every time — only how the matches play out differs. Pro includes Round Robin, Single Elimination and Pool Play; Venue unlocks all 8.
Every team plays every other team once. No one is ever eliminated — final rankings come from overall record, so it rewards consistency over a lucky bracket run. Best for a small group with plenty of time (the number of games grows fast with more teams).
Classic bracket — lose once and you're out. Byes are assigned automatically if the team count isn't a clean power of two. The fastest way to crown a winner, but half the field is done after just one round.
A loss drops a team into the losers' bracket instead of sending them home — they're only out after losing twice. If the losers'-bracket champion beats the winners'-bracket champion in the final, they play one more match to decide it outright. Fairer than single elim, but takes noticeably longer.
Teams are split into small pools and round-robin within their pool first. The top finisher(s) from each pool then move on to a single-elimination knockout. Good middle ground — everyone gets guaranteed games before the field narrows.
Club-style team play: 4-player teams (2 men, 2 women) face off in four matches — Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles, and two Mixed Doubles. If it's tied 2-2 after all four, a final Dreambreaker match decides the winner. Built for team nights, not individual bracket play.
Courts are ranked from top to bottom (Court 1 = the top court). Winners on each court move up a court next round, losers move down — so the strongest teams naturally rise to Court 1 over time. Needs an even number of teams (4+) and runs continuously round after round, more like a ladder night than a bracket with a defined end.
Teams are ranked in a list. A lower-ranked team can challenge one ranked above them, and if they win, they swap positions on the ladder. Great for an ongoing club ladder that runs over multiple sessions, not just one night.
Starts like single elimination, but round-1 losers don't go home — they're dropped into their own consolation bracket and keep playing for a separate placement. Everyone gets at least two guaranteed matches.
For overflow players who shouldn't be in the queue yet. A Waitlist section sits under the queue on Open Play (full list under the Waitlist tab). Waitlisted players aren't touched by Fill or Shuffle — tap ➕ To Queue when a spot opens. To put someone on hold, just drag their card from the queue down onto the Waitlist section (they stay in the Players roster). Going the other way, drag a waitlisted player up onto the queue (drop on a player to slot in just ahead of them, or anywhere else to join the back) or straight onto a court slot to seat them.
8 formats, from the Tournament tab (full walkthrough in the Tournaments tab of this guide): Round Robin, Single Elimination, Double Elimination, Pool Play + Bracket, MLP Team Format, King of the Court, Ladder League, and Waterfall.
The Players tab shows a live leaderboard, each player's win-loss record, and a match history log for the night. Only games with a score count toward win-loss records.
Two different icons for two different jobs — most clubs only need one of each.
